§ 1 Information about the collection of personal data

These data will be deleted once their recording is no longer essential. In case of legally-obliged retention periods, the data processing will be limited.

§ 3. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

  1. In case of the purely informational utilization of the website, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and associated with your utilized browser and by which the service that sets the cookie (here through us) receives certain information. Cookies cannot execute routines (programs) or transmit virus to your computer. Cookies serve to render the Internet more user-friendly and efficient.

    a) This website utilizes the following types of cookies, whose scope and operating mode is explained below:

    b) Transient cookies will be deleted automatically when you close the browser. This includes the session cookies. The session cookies store a so-called session ID with which different requests of your browser can be associated with the joint session. § 4. Usage of Social Media Plugins

  1. The Social Media Plugins currently used by us are Xing and Linkedin, whereby the so-called two-klick-solution is utilized. That is, if you visit our website we initially do not transmit any personal data to the supplier of the plugins. You can recognize the supplier of the plugin by the label on the box - either by his first letter or by the logo. We give you the possibility to communicate with the supplier of the plugin directly via the button. Only if you click the marked area and, by doing so, activate it will the supplier of the plugin get the information that you have used the respective website of our online offer. In addition to this, the data mentioned in § 3 of this Privacy Policy Notice will be transferred. In Xing’s case, the IP-Address will be anonymized, directly after the collection, according to the respective suppliers in Germany. Thus by activating the plugin, your personal data will be transferred to the supplier of the plugin and stored there (in case of US suppliers in the USA). Since the supplier of the plugin carries out the collection of data mainly via cookies, we recommend deleting all cookies via the security settings of your browser before clicking the greyed out box.

  2. We neither have an influence over the collected data and data processing, nor are the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing and the retention periods known by us. We also have no information about the deletion of the collected data by the supplier of the plugin.

The supplier of the plugin saves the collected data as usage profiles and uses those for purposes of advertising, market research and /or appropriate design of his website.  Apart from users that are not logged in, such an evaluation takes place especially for the purpose of presenting targeted advertising and to inform other users about your activity on the website. You have a right to object to the creation of such user-profiles; all you have to do is contact the supplier of the plugin to exercise this right. With those plugins, we offer the possibility to interact with the social networks and with other users, so that we can improve our offer and develop it for you as a user. Legal basis for the usage of the plugins is in Art. 6 para. 1 sent. 1 GDPR

  4. The data transfer takes place irrespective of whether you have an account with the supplier of the plugin or you are logged in. If you are logged in at the supplier of the plugin, your collected data will be directly associated with your account at the supplier of the plugin. If you activate the button, e.g. link the page, the supplier of the plugin will save this information as well in your user account and share it with your contacts publicly. We recommend logging out regularly after the usage of a social network, especially before activating the button in order to prevent an allocation to your profile with the supplier of the plugin.

§ 5. Embedding of YouTube Videos

  1. We have embedded YouTube Videos that are saved on http://www.youtube.com, and are playable directly from our website. All of those are embedded in the “extended privacy protection mode”, viz. no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube, if you do not playback those videos. Only once you playback those videos, the data described in para. 2 will be transferred. We have no influence on this data transmission.

This will happen regardless of whether YouTube is providing a user account via which you are logged in, or if no user account exists at all.
